I've always been a big fan of Walt Disney and the movies he made. Aside from Fantasia, my favorite was always Pinocchio. As a boy, I especially loved the part when Pinocchio went to sea in search of his father whom he found in the belly of Monstro the whale. In the original 19th century story at this point, Pinocchio has been turned into a donkey and is thrown into the sea by a man who wants to drown and skin the donkey to make a drum. The fish eat the donkey skin from Pinocchio and he swims out to sea and is eaten by Monstro or "Il Terrible Pescecane" the DogFish. I have always loved the idea of a whale that huge and the fact that one could live in the environment that exists inside the belly of such a whale. This is a homage to Monstro, the modern symbol of titans who live under the sea.
